Changpeng Zhao aka CZ, CEO of Binance exchange shouts at the media report, claiming that Binance is the Ethereum Killer. He yells over media and noted “Bad bad article. So many wrong facts”.

CZ’s reaction appeared after a crypto media published an article on Sunday, entitling “The Ethereum Killer is already here – and its name is Binance”. However, the article didn’t reveal author name but it looks quite similar to the paid article because, at the end of the lengthy article, a disclaimer was given that claims “the views expressed in the article are solely those of the author”. This quickly hints that the article is accepted on the form of paid-partnership but at the center of everything, it has gotten the attention of CZ.

It highlights the latest coin listing at Binance which comes in the pair of BTC, BNB, and USDT and no signs with ETH pair. By putting the absence of ETH pair on coin listing (although ETH is the second largest cryptocurrency), the article mentioned that

“Binance declined to entertain ETH trading for the newly listed coins”.

It is worth to note that Binance has recently migrated its native BNB token from ETH network to its own Binance Chain. Concerning the similar regard, the article referred to Binance’s announcement on a token called “PHB”, made in late May 2019. A token name Red Pulse Phoenix (PHX) got rebranded into Red Pulse Phoenix Binance (PHB) – after migrating from NEO platform to Binance Chain. The token was earlier listed with the pair of ETH. Following its migration into Binance chain, Binance exchange broke out a new announcement, stating the new trading of PHB will open with the pairs of BNB, BTC, USDC, TUSD, and PAX and once the trading opens, old pairs will immediately be removed which was PHX/BNB, PHX/BTC, and PHX/ETH.

This detailed post wasn’t something that captures CZ’s attention with positive remarks – rather he took Twitter and states“Binnace Singapore and Jersey all recently listed ETH”. In his words;

He further responded to user’s comment that inquired on “why do they not see any ETH pairs for launchpad projects”, he says;

Just because you don’t do something doesn’t mean you are against it. Like you didn’t donate to every charity in the world, are you against all charity?

CZ further recalled “Google-algorithm based article published by same media” after a hard hit by new Algorithm, he said; “were they the ones that had an issue with Google AI not long ago? Gotta give it to Google man”.

Moreover, when Binance chain launched, CZ mentioned his opinion on Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency. While responding to a user’s question that compares ETH with BNB, he earlier said; “ETH can do much more than BNB in features”

Also, stating on whether Binance DEX will take on Ethereum” CZ commented “Binance DEX doesn’t challenge Ethereum, It challenge ourselves (Binance).

In one of his earlier comment that was posted as a response to “an article concerning Justin Sun around a Ponzi scheme”, CZ agreed that article is absolutely disgraceful. He commented;

I agree, CCN should apologize and delete the article, or change it to "CCN caused the suicide by not writing an article reporting the scammers".
