BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) staked an additional 86,400 Ether (ETH) on Saturday, executed in four separate transactions, data from Arkham Intelligence shows. That move pushed the company’s total staked ETH to 1,080,512, a milestone noted by onchain analysis.

Staking locks tokens to secure proof-of-stake networks and produces yield paid in the native token. The newly staked 86,400 ETH was valued at about $268.7 million at the time of publication.

Nic Puckrin provided a yield estimate tied to the firm’s staked holdings. “BitMine has now staked about $3.3 billion worth of ETH. At the current 2.81% yield, that generates roughly $94.4 million per year in ETH,” he said in a public post (view post).

The company’s share price has weakened since its July 2025 peak of $161 per share and was trading at $30.06 at the time of reporting, per market data. In early January 2026, chairman Tom Lee urged shareholders to approve a proposal to raise the authorized share limit from 50 million to 50 billion, a 1,000x increase, in a call to vote (watch).

Lee said the increase would accommodate future stock splits to keep the price near $25 per share and clarified it does not require issuing the new shares. A visual on splits and share counts was shared publicly (see diagram).
