CoinMarketCap, the world’s largest cryptocurrency information site by traffic, and Yahoo Finance, Verizon Media’s leading business and financial news site, have confirmed a strategic partnership for cryptocurrency data and content. CoinMarketCap will provide its trusted cryptocurrency pricing, indices and educational information to power the cryptocurrency markets on Yahoo Finance.
Additionally, the CoinMarketCap indices, Crypto 200 (including Bitcoin) and Crypto 200 EX (excluding BItcoin) will be available on Yahoo Finance. Incorporating pricing from over 200 exchanges, the indices provide exposure to the broader cryptocurrency market by including the cryptocurrencies that represent more than 90% of global market capitalization, as of the index launch date. In alignment with its goal to provide education on cryptocurrencies, CoinMarketCap’s popular daily newsletter and blog content will be integrated into the news stream on the cryptocurrency screener landing page and the individual cryptocurrency pages.

The new data provided as part of the partnership is now live on the Yahoo Finance site.
